The First Progress Platinum Elite Mastercard® Secured Credit Card is one of the three secured cards offered by First Progress. Also, all of these three secured First Progress credit cards are for those with not-so-good credit scores.

After getting approved to use this card, you will have to pay for a security deposit of at least $200 and up to $2,000. Also, the amount you deposit will be the same as your credit limit. Even though there is no welcome bonus or rewards program, you can reestablish your credit with this card.

That is, the card sends all of your monthly payment reports to the major credit bureaus. However, to build credit, you will have to make all your payments on time.

Also, if you use the card correctly and make all your payments on time, you can get a credit limit increase. However, this credit limit increase can be up to $5,000, and you will need to increase your security deposit to match the credit limit increase.
