The Citi® Double Cash Card is a Mastercard branded product that offers cash back rewards for its cardholders. With the Citi® Double Cash, you’ll earn 1% when you make purchases and an additional 1% as you pay for those purchases. All cash back earned is in the form of ThankYou® Points, which you can redeem as statement credits, direct deposit, checks, gift cards, and more. To earn cash back, you must pay at least the minimum amount of your monthly balance on time.
To become eligible for the Citi® Double Cash Card, you must be 18 years or older, have a steady income and a valid Social Security Number. Other qualifying criteria include a credit score of 700 or more, a low debt to income ratio and a low number of open accounts.
There are no current welcome bonus promotions with the Citi® Double Cash Card. However, new card members can enjoy a 0% intro APR for 18 months on balance transfers (once that period ends, the variable 18.74% – 28.74% APR applies).
No, ThankYou® Points do not expire for the life of your account. If you decide to close your account or switch to another Citi Card that is not part of the ThankYou® Rewards program, you’ll have 60 days to redeem your accumulated points.
