You’ll need to fill out the official application form to check if you’re eligible before you apply. There are some requirements you need to meet, such as being a for-profit business.
Read below some of the Canada Digital Adoption Program eligibility requirements:
- Your business is Canadian-owned;
- It has 1 to 499 employees;
- It has had at least $500,000 in annual revenue in 1 of the last 3 years;
- Runs on a profit-oriented corporate model (including for-profit social enterprises and co-operatives);
- It has a physical location and serves customers face-to-face. Also, it is legally recognized as a business, employs at least one person (apart from the owner);
- The above or if you made at least $30,000 in the most recent tax year;
- Pledges to keep up its digital adoption plan for a minimum of six months;
- Take part in surveys to gauge satisfaction with the program and disclose relevant information in exchange for publicizing its grant-winning status.
Moreover, if you’re business has the means to invest in itself or already has some other benefit to help it, you may not be eligible for this program.
