How does the Wise debit card work?
To have a Wise debit card requires a Wise account. But that’s fine because if you are a traveler, for example, it will seem like you have a currency exchange in your pocket.
The card allows you to pay in the local currency, whether in America or Europe, and more.
Also, it offers the possibility to withdraw cash in over 200 countries and more than 50 currencies.
As said before, you need to open a Wise account. Then, add a minimum amount in your currency so that they will be able to order your newest card. That will cost you 5 GBP.
After that, you can start converting money as you need with the cheapest rates and no hidden fees.
In addition, it is important to say that this card works with the credit option, but they will draw the money in your account.
Furthermore, besides the fact you can use it in the local currency, it is accepted everywhere Visa and Mastercard are.
So, basically, the Wise smart-technology auto-convert currency when you need it according to the lowest rate and fee possible.
