The Assent Platinum Secured is a Mastercard credit card that offers you the opportunity to build up a credit score. Since it doesn’t require a minimum credit score, the Assent allows you to hold a platinum-featured card without proving credit history.

As a secured card, the Assent Platinum Secured credit card requires a deposit of at least $200, up to $2,000. But, note that this secured deposit is refundable.

The main benefit is that no credit score is required, so you can build up your score while using the card.

Also, another good thing about this card is that it reports monthly to all majors Credit Bureaus. And, the card is a Mastercard, which provides you the convenience of being a worldwide accepted flag.

Even though it charges a 12.99% Variable APR, a very competitive rate, by the way, it offers 0% Intro APR for six months after opening the account. 

Assent Platinum Secured card benefits

The Assent Platinum Secured credit card’s main benefit is the credit history requirement, which is none. So, even if your credit score is poor, you can apply for it.

Moreover, it offers a competitive regular APR and 0% intro APR for new members for six months.

As an Assent Platinum Secured cardholder, you will also be able to manage your account anytime, 24/7. 

On the other hand, you will pay $49 for an annual fee and a 3% fee for foreign transactions. 

Also, the card does not offer any reward or welcome bonus, as well. 

Besides that, you need to deposit at least $200, fully refundable. And this secured deposit will be used as a credit limit.

In addition, the application is not available in NY, AR, IA, and WI.
