Online Application Process for the Women’s Economic Security Program
The Women’s Economic Security Program is not just one program you can apply for. You’ll need to find the training and funding options inside the program that best fit your needs before you apply.
Therefore, you can apply for the Canadore College – General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship or the Six Nations Polytechnic – We Are Welders training.
This way, you can get access to basically four training branches inside the Women’s Economic Security Program:
- Skilled trades;
- General employment training;
- Information technology;
- Entrepreneurship for self-employment.
Moreover, you’ll need to go to each of these training programs inside the Women’s Economic Security Program and see if you’re eligible to apply for it and participate in the training.

Requirements
You’ll need to fit some basic requirements to be eligible to attend each training inside the Women’s Economic Security Program.
Therefore, just as an example, for the Canadore College – General Carpenter Pre-Apprenticeship, you’ll need to fit the following requirements:
- Be a woman of 19 years of age or older;
- Reside in Ontario;
- Be eligible to work in Canada;
- Have the low income of the eligibility criteria;
- Have an OSSD, GED, or equivalent.
The other many programs will have other ways to apply and other eligibility requirements.
Therefore, you’ll need to go to the official website of each program branch you’ll like to apply for to see if you are eligible and meet the requirements.

However, some of them will require you to apply only to a physical agency of the program or through the official phone number.
